Hans Fehr established an engineering office.

1970

fehr developed an innovative gliding system for cassettes in shelves. The system became the basis for fehr honeycomb's lead on the market.

1972

Often imitated, never achieved: fehr developed a revolutionary gripper system guaranteeing delicate materials-handling through friction-locked sequences of movement.

1974

The first storage and retrieval unit with two drawer systems for cassettes on the steel-trading sector is taken into operation at Carl Spaeter GmbH.

1983

Development of satellite systems for handling materials without load carriers.

1993

Development and installation of fehr's first fully automated picking system in Sweden.

2007

Integration of System Schultheis AG and founding of fehr automation GmbH in Frankfurt (D).

2009

Relaunch of "fehr lagerlogistik" - to transport the new communicative self-awareness and to create the basis for the future.
